General Manager (FinOp &Reconciliation )
Job Description:
Responsibilities will include:
Core Reconciliation:
● End-to-end responsibility on loan book reconciliation process - covering Disbursals, Collection marking, Repayment allocation, DPD marking, etc.
● Ensure high quality and timely closure of reconciliation on a daily /weekly/ monthly basis
● Understanding the commercials for each partner & costs associated with end to end operations of each partnership
● Understanding reconciliation & accounting requirements and articulate the same to the product and technology team
● Take appropriate actions and connect with respective teams to resolve the unreconciled transactions
● In addition, process disbursal requests, reconciling repayment data, ensuring system updation, raising demand for NPA settlements
Analytical, Product & Reporting:
● Identify areas of inefficiency in daily operations and work towards automating the process in collaboration with the Product & Tech team
● Suggest & evaluate recon tools, as needed, that help make the process fast & reliable
● Work with product team for integrating with banks, payment gateways, and other data sources required for reconciliation
● Track lending volume & financial-related metrics (such as, loan volume, IRR, etc.)
● Design and implement dashboards for management reporting
Org & Stakeholder Management:
● Sharing data with the finance team to raise invoices basis various commercial arrangements
● Share timely response to queries from Auditor, other bodies, as required
● Manage team of 8-10+ people, and able to drive high performance & efficiency
To succeed in the role:
Qualification & Experience (type& industry)
● CA / BBA, MBA (Finance) / CFA; Graduate/ Postgraduate from top college / University
● 8-10 years of experience in financial services (NBFC/Banking)/ Fintech; with experience in similar
FinOps/ Recon roles
