- The Incumbent should strong background in operating and maintaining reactors and pressure vessels, with expertise in PLC/SCADA systems.
- The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of machinery, implementing maintenance procedures, and adhering to safety standards.
- Experience: Extensive experience in machine operation with a background in mechanical, electrical and instrumentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair, install, troubleshoot and modify equipment [mechanical, electrical, and electronic components, equipment, and systems], at customer sites and in-house workshops.
- Operate, maintain and monitor reactors and pressure vessels (2+ KL) in compliance with SOPs.
- Conduct preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Perform leakage testing and troubleshooting of pressurized vessels and drying systems.
- Develop, implement, and update SOPs & schedules for machine operations and maintenance.
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures and policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Source & Collaborate with vendors and internal/external teams to resolve operational issues.
- Maintain accurate records of machine operation, maintenance activities, and safety inspections.
- Train and mentor junior operators on machine operation and safety practices.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and/or Diploma in Instrumentation.
- 3-5 years of experience in machine operation/maintenance [reactors/pressure vessels].
- Exposure to PLC/SCADA systems.
