Job Description:

  Assistant Sales Manager (ASM) for the General Insurance Broking Firm plays a crucial role in driving revenue and expanding the firm's customer base. The primary focus will be on selling a range of insurance products including Trade Credit Insurance, Liability Insurance, Private Client Group Insurance, and Customized High-End Health Insurance.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and target potential clients to promote and sell various insurance products.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing tailored solutions.
  3. Conduct thorough market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitors' offerings.
  4. Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
  5. Prepare and present compelling sales pitches and proposals to prospective clients.
  6. Negotiate terms and conditions of insurance contracts, ensuring alignment with the client's requirements and company guidelines.
  7. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and claims promptly.
  8. Stay updated on product knowledge and industry regulations to effectively communicate benefits and coverage options to clients.
  9. Prepare regular sales reports and updates for management, highlighting achievements and challenges.
  10. Participate in training programs to enhance sales skills and stay current on industry best practices.

 

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in sales, preferably in the insurance industry.
  3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and internal teams.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a results-driven mindset.
  5. Familiarity with insurance products such as Trade Credit, Liability, Private Client Group, and High-End Health Insurance.
  6. Proficiency in using CRM tools and other sales software for tracking leads and managing customer interactions.
  7. Problem-solving abilities to address client needs and provide suitable solutions.
  8. Willingness to stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
  9. Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  10. Adaptability to a dynamic and fast-paced sales environment.
