Job Description:

Role Overview:
This role is ideal for young professionals with a strong interest in the development and testing of innovative cooling technologies. The position offers an opportunity to engage in impactful research that addresses the challenges of energy-efficient cooling in modern buildings, utilizing state-of-the-art testing facilities and infrastructure for practical insights and advancements.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Install small mechanical or electrical systems and equipment in laboratory or residential settings. Prepare detailed reports on system performance and document any issues encountered during operation.
Collaborate with technicians to ensure successful project completion, maintaining clear communication on project status, challenges, and progress with team members and supervisors.
Supervise routine maintenance of electrical wiring and systems, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety standards. Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques.
Conduct performance and safety tests for mechanical systems and room air-conditioning units. Assist in the design of mechanical systems as required.

Preferred skills:
Proficiency in computer applications is desirable.
Expertise in refrigeration systems or building management systems (BMS) will be considered an added advantage.
Qualifications:
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical, Thermal, Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
