Accountant

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, Responsibilities:
• general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Tally software.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with GST regulations and timely filing of GST returns.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls.
• Prepare documentation and assist in financial audits conducted by external auditors.
• Provide guidance and training to junior accounting staff as needed.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, taxation laws, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting roles.
• Strong proficiency in Tally software is essential.
• Thorough understanding of GST regulations and experience in GST compliance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
