Responsibilities:

Leadership and Administration:

  • Provide visionary leadership, aligning goals with the institution's mission.

  • Develop and maintain high-quality academic programs, ensuring compliance with standards.

  • Encourage and support faculty research, securing funding and collaborations.
  • Promote interdisciplinary projects addressing real-world challenges.

  • Advocate for students' well-being and academic integrity.
  • Provide guidance and support services, promoting experiential learning.
  • Facilitate internships, co-op programs, and research projects for industry readiness.

  • Facilitate internship programs and collaborative research initiatives.

Continuous Improvement and Assessment:

Stay updated on developments in computer engineering, integrating emerging technologies

Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :
  1. Educational Background:
    • Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, or related field.
    • Strong academic record with research publications.
  2. Professional Experience:
    • Extensive academic experience, ideally as a tenured faculty.
    • Leadership roles in curriculum development and assessment.
    • Familiarity with accreditation processes.
  3. Industry Experience:
    • Tech industry experience, especially in computer engineering roles.
    • Established industry connections and successful collaboration history.
  4. Leadership and Management Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal skills to inspire and motivate.
    • Strategic planning and resource management proficiency.
    • Experience in budgeting and financial planning.
  5. Professional Associations and Certifications:
    • Membership in relevant professional associations.
    • Certifications in leadership or higher education administration.
