Job Description:
∙Responsible for offer preparation including size & selection of filtration screens and related products for various applications. ∙Interact & communicate with customers across India and provide full support during pre-sales & after-sales process. ∙Interact and communicate with colleagues in other entities of group companies for ‘ inter-company’ sales that includes submission of offers , order processing and coordination for shipment. ∙Check & Process all sales orders to facilitate effective manufacturing & dispatch. ∙Liaise with external sales, production and procurement departments for optimum delivery of product to customers across India. ∙Arrange for inspection & timely dispatch of manufactured products to various customers as per needs. ∙Handle customer complaints on priority in co-ordination with external sales and operations team. ∙Follow-up for outstanding payments ∙Timely submission of sales reports and monthly billing plans. ∙Maintain proper records in Sales Force for all customer activities – inquiries, offers, orders, customer complaints, etc
Educational Qualification, Experience & Skills:
-Degree Mechanical Engineer from reputed institute with 3 - 5 years of internal sales experience preferably in engineering / process Industry.
∙Capable of working independently and interacting at various customer levels.
∙Aptitude for learning new products / technology used in solid-liquid filtration process in engineering , F&B and Mining industries.
∙Experience in ‘SAP’ and ‘ Sales Force’ .
∙Able to read and interpret technical drawings .
∙Fundamental knowledge of engineering design formula’s and calculations.
∙Good Communication with positive attitude and inter-personal relationship.

Basic Function:
Budgetary proposal, Quotation, estimate cost and lead times for our domestic and international
customers. Perform basic engineering calculations, plan and coordinate activities involved in the
estimating of price and delivery for a range of Water Well Screens products. Provide application and
design engineering support to a defined market team to ensure sales and margin goals are achieved.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Study RFQ/tenders in detail to estimate the cost and prepare customer proposals
Perform basic engineering calculations and manage initial design of Johnson Screens products within approved procedures.
Interaction with our global water well sales team for technical discussion and follow-up.
Understand quality requirements, timeline limitations, and budget requirements of major projects
Carry out accurate costing of critical major projects. Prepare customer proposal including
price, delivery and supporting documents per company guidelines.
Understand the application of Johnson Screens products to define applicability and solution recommendations to customers’ technical problems
Become familiar with refining and petrochemical processes where Johnson Screens products are utilized
Develop and modify costing programs and product presentations
Become knowledgeable in commercial terms, payment terms, T&Cs to be able to review and/or negotiate a customer order
Liaise closely on daily basis with production and Engineering teams for execution of orders
Collaborating actively with team members to achieve company objectives
Skills Required
Mechanical Engineering degree
3-5 years’ experience in technical sales, estimation/costing and product engineering
Experience in medium to heavy engineering fabrication companies
Experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
